Brake disc and brake caliper together constitute caliper disc brake. According to different installation positions, brakes can be divided into wheel brakes and central brakes. The brake whose rotating element is fixed on the wheel or axle shaft is called the wheel brake; The brake whose rotating element is fixed on the transmission shaft of the transmission system is called the central brake.
